Twain.dll file installation steps

1.  Make sure all other programs and utilities are closed prior to starting the download.
Hit your <CTRL> <ESC> keys to open your task list.

2.  Your program manager and web browser should be the only 2 programs open.
 For example you may use AOL, Netscape, etc..  for a web browser.

3.  Click the twain.exe (self extracting) link to start the download.

4.  You should be asked for a location to download the file to. If so type in C:\windows
 and press enter. Go to the directory and type "twain" to extract file.

5.  If prompted to overwrite an existing file, do so. 

6.  Once the download is complete, close your web browser and then close windows.

7.  After a restart of windows, attempt to use your scanner.
